If you re asics shoes not a fan of Nikes or Jordans or adidas and you prefer some classic runners, Asics has you covered with one of their newest all-black releases. The Asics Gel Lyte 5 is one of the brand s most popular releases and they ve gone the Triple Black route with this latest colorway. This Gel Lyte 5 is constructed of a full suede upper with the traditional neoprene inner liner. The branding stripes on the side panels have been given the 3M treatment for some added flair.
Things such as the cushioned FlyteFoam midsole, the newly-patented AdaptTruss adaptive stability system, a a Sloped DUOMAX dual density midsole, a X-GEL hybrid asics kayano hi-tech gel, and an Optimized Upper are all reasons why Asics feels the MetaRun is where it s at. Said to be available beginning November 18th, act fast as Asics has only made 60,000 of these asics gel kayano shoes available worldwide.Although I don t really know what all these brand new patents and technologies mean.
Next we have the Gel Kayano which features brown on the upper with camo on the tongue, toebox, side panels and around the ankle. A black and white midsole and subtle pink detailing on the outsole finish off this pair. Both pairs feature Bape branding on the heels as the icing on the cake.You can asics gt 2000 pick up either pair from the Bape x Asics Gel Pack at select retailers beginning November 14th.Bape collaborations usually don t catch my attention but these two pairs of Asics were executed very nicely.
Below the tonal upper you will find an off-white midsole paired up with a brown rubber outsole that seem to blend in nicely with the aesthetics of the shoe. Look for these to drop in the next few weeks.There s something about black and red sneakers that draws people to them. If you ask me, those two colors are a match made in heaven. The retail price for each colorway is $130 and the men s sizes range from 5-13. The collection will also be available in toddler sizes 4c-9c for $85.
